A Legacy of Love: 40+ Years of Volunteer Service & Lasting Impact in Tampa Bay
Seniors in Service connects adults aged 55+ with meaningful volunteer service that improves lives and strengthens communities. For over four decades, we’ve proudly served the Tampa Bay region, helping people come together to support one another — across generations, backgrounds, and neighborhoods.
Our volunteers are Geared Up To Serve — ready to show up, share kindness, and make a lasting difference.
What We Do
Our volunteers step up where they’re needed most. Through our programs, they:
- Visit and care for isolated older adults
- Support tired and overwhelmed caregivers
- Tutor and mentor young students
- Assist fellow veterans with respect and compassion
- Help neighbors facing hunger and hardship
Every hour of service makes a difference — lifting spirits, building relationships, and creating stronger, more connected communities.
Our Legacy of Impact
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished — together:
- 1,900+ volunteers serve each year
- 8,000+ lives touched annually
- 150+ community partners across Tampa Bay
- 5 million+ hours of volunteer service valued at over $131 million
These numbers represent real people, real stories, and real impact.
Financial Integrity You Can Trust
We treat every donation with care, responsibility, and transparency:
- 93¢ of every dollar directly supports our programs
- We pass independent audits every year
- Trusted by local, state, and federal agencies for over 40 years
You can feel confident knowing your support directly helps people and strengthens our community.
